Description
The successful candidate will be expected to: 1) develop a nationally-recognized research program focusing on one or more of the following: agricultural production economics, farm management, agribusiness, risk management, precision agriculture, and farm data managment; 2) teach graduate or undergraduate courses in the Department of Agricultural & Resource Economics; 3) publish in high quality disciplinary and multidisciplinary journals; 4) acquire extramural funding; 5) mentor and supervise undergraduate and graduate students; and 6) participate in service activities of the Department, College, University; and profession. The expected start date is February 1 or August 1, 2025.
Qualifications
Ph.D., or ABD with an expected completion date before August 1, 2025, in agricultural economics, economics, or a closely related field; excellent communication skills; ability to work in disciplinary and interdisciplinary teams.
