Summary of Job Duties:This position works under the supervision of the Vice Chancellor for the UAM College of Technology at Crossett. The Director of Career Pathways will be responsible for the management of the Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) grant including the fiscal and day-to-day operations of the project.

Duties include: Managing the grant within pre-determined budget guidelines and objectives; directing, administering, and coordinating the activities of the CPI staff in support of policies, goals, and objectives established by the grant; supervising and performing case management and student advising; compiling, submitting, and maintaining project records and reports; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

A master’s degree in management or a discipline related to the project and at least five years of related work experience or a baccalaureate degree with six years of related work experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience. The candidate must demonstrate skills in interpersonal and written communication, management and leadership, critical thinking, decision-making, and organization. Strong computer skills and knowledge of various software programs are required. Supervisory experience is preferred.
