Supply Manager II (AC09/61121605/ PCLS202400086), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 05 . Salary range: $38,985.00 (minimum) - $55,559.00 (midpoint) . Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.

Duties

Duties include, but are not limited to:

Manages procurement of supplies, equipment and services as a buyer and initiator of purchasing processes.

Manages all aspects of warehouse operations and projects, including planning, assessment, inventory control, quality control, contractor coordination, and stakeholder collaboration.

Researches products and services to determine quantity, quality, efficacy, lowest possible cost, and adherence applicable processes, rules, and regulations.

Manages work orders, receipts, contracts, purchase orders, and facilities records using computer software and electronic forms.

Manages safe and secure work environment.

Qualifications

• Required Qualifications: A high school diploma and t hree (3) years prior procurement or inventory management experience to include supervisory work experience . A bachelor's degree may be substituted for work experience. Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable three-year driving record.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree
• Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must understand purchasing and inventory management processes for a complex educational or business organization. Must understand basic procurement rules, regulations, and resources. Must understand warehousing safety practices. Must be able to multi-task, make good decisions, maintain working relationships, and manage a variety of administrative processes. Must be able to learn and apply information accurately and efficiently. Must adapt well to deadlines, challenges, and competing priorities. Must be able to communicate, written and oral, with variety of stakeholders. Must be able to utilize technology, software, and devices to manage and document work. Must be able to drive a motor vehicle, electric vehicle, and golf cart.
