Development Officer
Prescott College (AZ), a higher education institution focused on experiential learning, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its next Development Officer. This is a virtual/remote leadership role.
Prescott College, founded in 1966, has over a half-century of leadership in developing and refining experiential and online educational models that have kept the college at the forefront of institutions seeking to address urgent issues currently facing human societies. Collaborative learning, multidisciplinary studies, and experiential and field-based learning are hallmarks of the Prescott educational experience. Enrolling approximately 1,000 students annually in both on-campus and online programs, Prescott offers bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees.
Reporting to, and working in close collaboration with, the vice president for advancement/alumni relations, the development officer will be responsible for the direction, management, execution, and evaluation of Prescott College's development program, including annual, major gifts and foundation grants.

Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of direct
experience in nonprofit fundraising, preferably in higher education
or field-based experiential learning.
- A demonstrated ability to meet fundraising goals through direct
asks, events, grants, and other strategies.
- Experience with fundraising databases and fundraising
technologies.
- Experience leveraging technology for workflow (Zoom,
cloud-based collaboration, email marketing, spreadsheets,
etc.).
- Demonstrated proficiency using Microsoft Office programs (e.g.,
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and social media
platforms.
- Other combinations of experience and education that meet the
minimum requirements may be substituted.
- Ability to travel and work some nights and weekends.

people.

- Responsive, tactful, and professional, possessing a
relationship and donor-centric mindset.
- Strong organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to
manage projects and events from conception through
completion.
- Ability to work well in multicultural teams and with diverse
constituencies.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and promote positive relationships and actively contribute to creating a highly cooperative work environment.
