We offer approximately 50 undergraduate courses each academic year. Lecturers play a crucial role in the academic life of the Department, through teaching and mentoring undergraduate students, providing innovations to course and curriculum design, and serving on departmental committees. The commitment of the Department to undergraduate education has been recognized through numerous awards to faculty for their teaching accomplishments.

Requirements for the position include: an M.A. (Ph.D. preferred) in Criminology and/or Criminal Justice, Data Science, Information Science, or a closely related field; a strong, demonstrated investment in diversity and inclusion; and a commitment to undergraduate education as well as evidence of excellence in teaching.
