Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Program Director of the Master of Social Work (MSW) Program, the MSW Field Director assists in the development of the MSW program from an internship role. In this 12-month non-tenure track position, teaching one course per semester may be requested.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Direct the MSW interns in a required agency experience. Teach two seminar courses per semester.
Assist in the development of the MSW program from an internship role. Participate in the reaccreditation of the MSW program by CSWE.
Assist with student agency selection and provide ongoing supervision in the process. Provide internship training/workshops to prospective and ongoing Agency Field Supervisors. Serve on appropriate university-wide committees.
Participate in the development of graduate-level internship relationships with other universities,
community, organizations, professional associations, and alumni
