Summary of Job Duties:•tCoordinate all retention efforts such as early alerts, probation and suspension outreach efforts, and appropriate course placement.
•tCoordination of all UA – Pulaski Technical College new student orientation programming.
•tResponsible for the advising and registration of Allied Health affiliate majors and pre-majors – Occupational Therapy Assistant & Radiography programs.
•tMaintaining partnerships with UA – Pulaski Technical College and partner faculty and program directors to maintain quality of existing programs and to further the growth of additional academic partnerships.
•tSupport the planning and creation of guided pathways for Allied Health, transfer, and future programs.
•tCoordinate Early College Registration
•tAssists and supports Advising and Career Services training for departmental faculty.
•tAssistance in assessment across all Advising and Career Services initiatives.
•tAlong with the Director, oversight of daily UA – Pulaski Technical College advising needs.
•tParticipation in the general advising of all UA – Pulaski Technical College students and programs as needed.
•tAppropriate referral of students to other campus services as needed.
•tOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications
:

  • Master’s Degree
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in higher education setting
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Student Personnel Services or Counseling preferred.
  • Two to three years of relevant experience in Higher Education/Student Services.


Salary Information:

$36,000 - $38,000
