Building/Grounds Specialist II (KA10/61122089), full-time position with benefits. SC State Pay Band: 02. Minimum starting salary: $31,200.00. Normal work hours are Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Cleans all surfaces in assigned areas.
- Performs floor care in assigned areas.
- Removes waste from assigned areas.
- Maintains equipment and reports maintenance and supply needs.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including faculty, staff, students, vendors, visitors and the community using positive communication skills and established protocols.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required : High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Experience in the custodial field.
Preferred: A minimum of one year of experience in the custodial field.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Must have knowledge of best cleaning practices. Must be able to operate equipment used in providing custodial services. Must have good communication skills.
