Assistant Professor Strategy - Entrepreneurship

The Department of Management at Colorado State University invites applications and nominations for a tenure/tenure track Assistant Professor in Strategy/ Entrepreneurship. This position reports directly to the Department Chair in the Department of Management at the College of Business. The start date for a Fall of 2025 appointment is August 16th, 2025. Salary and benefits are competitive. Specific responsibilities include: Teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses in strategic management, entrepreneurship, and other related topics; conducting research leading to scholarly publication in leading academic journals; and providing service to the College, University, profession, and community (service expectations are commensurate with rank). Ability to advance the Department’s commitment to diversity and inclusion through research, teaching and outreach with relevant programs, goals, and activities.

Required Qualifications: 

• A Ph.D. in Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, or related field from an AACSB-accredited Business School. ABD candidates will be considered only if there is sufficient evidence that the doctorate degree will be completed before August 15, 2025.
• An established record of publishing empirical research in top-tier, peer reviewed, academic journals, or a demonstrated potential to do so.
• The ability to effectively teach courses in strategy (specifically the capstone course) and entrepreneurship, provide service, and conduct research with colleagues per the responsibilities of the rank.
