Summary of Job Duties:     Must possess a thorough knowledge of the teaching field and a commitment to high academic standards;
•         Must possess a commitment to program building, student retention, student success, and excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills;
•         Teaching assignments may include a variety of interdisciplinary courses in Architectural CAD, Structural CAD, REVIT, Residential and Commercial Construction;
•         Assigned times and locations will vary with demand; and
•         Faculty members are expected to maintain active participation in non-instructional campus responsibilities, such as, college and departmental initiatives, committee work, student record keeping, curriculum planning, assess of student learning, and professional development.

Qualifications:

 Associate’s Degree in the technical field or related field and appropriate licensure/certification; and

 Five year’s work experience in the Drafting/Construction Management field.

Preferred Qualifications

Preference will be given to individuals with experience in teaching at a two-year college or other institutions of higher-education. The successful candidate must have the ability and willingness to use contemporary teaching techniques and have a sound background in technology and computer applications.
