Description

The Center for Behavioral Institutional Design , New York University Abu Dhabi, seeks to recruit a Post-Doctoral Associate interested in exploring the origins of human behavioral diversity, developing empirically-informed models of human behavior, and designing innovative institutions and policies for promoting social welfare.

The position holder is expected to work full-time on collaborative research with Prof. John Wooders on human-machine interaction, to engage in collaborative research with the C-BID lead researchers, and to contribute to maintaining the hardware and software infrastructure of the SSEL lab. The position holder will join an exceptionally vibrant community of economists, sociologists, and political scientists using experimental methods to do cutting-edge research.

The position provides a salary higher than internationally competitive rates for postdoctoral research positions, in addition to substantial benefits (generous housing, transportation and travel allowances, educational subsidies for children), together with full health insurance and retirement contributions. The UAE does not levy income tax.

The appointment will be for one year.
