Job Summary:
The Campaign Project Manager is a critical role to oversee all of the moving parts in our comprehensive campaign and ensure activities are on track and goals are met. This position will collaborate closely with our fundraising team, manage campaign logistics, and leverage data for effective decision making. This position will report to the Director, Campaign and Prospect Management. This full-time, 12-month benefits-eligible position is based in Lewisburg, PA and will have the option for a hybrid work location (remote & in-office days).

Job Duties:

The ideal candidate will be a certified project manager skilled at driving decision-making and activity on large-scale projects with revenue targets and the ability to build processes and deliver results on time.
  • Campaign Management (40%): Utilize impeccable project management skills to oversee the implementation of the comprehensive campaign plan. Coordinate, monitor, and execute campaign strategies to keep activities on-track and aligned with goals. Act as central project manager to facilitate campaign activities and timelines, ensuring all key actions are recorded in CRM. Identify and address risks and issues, adjusting processes and strategies as needed to meet campaign objectives. Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders ensuring a unified and cohesive approach to campaign success.
  • Project Management (30%): Oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of specific short-term and long-term strategic philanthropy projects. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, on-scope, and on-budget project delivery. Define objectives, develop detailed work plans, manage budgets, allocate resources, and provide regular stakeholder updates. Drive success by fostering a proactive and solution-oriented approach, to align team members with project goals and ensure efficient progress.
  • Tracking & Communication (30%): Implement and maintain systems to track and record projects and activities, ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Draft, update, and maintain documentation to meet timelines and guide the team. Deliver timely updates and comprehensive reports on progress, milestones, and achievements to senior leadership and stakeholders. Maintain open communication to keep stakeholders and leadership informed of development priorities and strategic directions.


This position (and all positions in our division) requires the occasional evening and weekend work to support university events including Homecoming, Family Weekend, Reunion Weekend, and other Stewardship & Donor events. We do ask staff to mark their calendars in advance for these events. This position may occasionally coordinate on-campus or off-campus events/activities outside of standard business hours.

We are looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor's degree and three years of successful end-to-end project management experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, Six Sigma or equivalent or willingness to obtain the certification within 12 months of employment.
  • Proven experience managing projects from start to finish using methodologies like Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or Lean.
  • Demonstrated exceptional data analysis and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated experience interacting with highly placed executives
  • High-quality and persuasive written and verbal communication skills
  • Inspirational, positive, and energetic leader who can build consensus and collaboration with a variety of stakeholders toward common goals. Demonstrated ability to positively interact with a wide range of individuals and a commitment to diversity and inclusiveness

Who also has (preferred):
  • Advanced degree
  • Experience working in fundraising or Advancement environment
  • Experience managing comprehensive campaign or large-scale fundraising initiatives

The offer rate will be based on a review of the candidate's credentials compared to the qualifications of the position, internal equity, and our overall compensation philosophy.
