Position Summary:
Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Bursar.
The candidate would be expected to:
Assist in the supervision of Bursar operations and in the receipt and collection of University funds.
This position may qualify for the University's Intermittent Remote Work Policy.

Bachelor's degree
Required Skills or Software:
Intermediate knowledge of MS Word 2016, Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel 2016, Must be able to utilize a variety of computer software programs in order to successfully complete assigned tasks, Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, Must be able to treat confidential and sensitive information appropriately
Required Years of Experience: 4
Other Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Four (4) years of experience in a Bursar’s/Student Accounts, Financial Aid, or other student administrative service department at a college or university with specific knowledge related to campus loan programs
- Experience using a data enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, such as Colleague, to compile and analyze data and prepare reports
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and sensitivity in interacting with students, parents, faculty, staff, and other internal and external stakeholders
- Experience and evidence of providing superior customer service
- Detail-oriented while addressing multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to adjust to changing situations and flexibility in meeting customer needs
- Understanding of Title IV regulations as it pertains to student accounts and other college/university administrative offices and their respective functions
- Knowledge of higher education principles, practices and procedures as they relate to student account operations
