Position Summary:
At the University of Idaho Golf Course, the Lookout Restaurant is hiring a cook. Under direction of the Lookout Manager the Cooks will provide culinary service by preparing customers food while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

The Cooks duties may include:

• Preparing food orders, dine in and pick up
• Garnishing food and plating food for guests
• Maintain clean service areas
• General food and beverage preparation
• Receiving and organizing food products
• Help with dishes and other general tasks for the restaurant
• Executing start of day opening of the kitchen and/or end of day closing of the kitchen depending on shift
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• None

• Food service experience or experience with food preparation

Preferred Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service experience
• Previous experience working in a team or group environment
• Restaurant kitchen experience

Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

• Occasionally lift, carry and/or otherwise move up to 50 pounds
• Frequently bend, reach, twist, squat, kneel and move throughout shift
