Role Summary
University of Missouri Ethics, Compliance, and Audit Services is an evolving and growing central services function for the four universities and health system of the University of Missouri. Our mission is to partner with leadership to preserve and create value consistent with the vision and direction of the university through internal audit, compliance, and investigative work.

The Training and Education Design Manager will produce, coordinate, and implement compliance education and training with tools such as Percipio and Articulate. Additionally, the Training and Education Design Manager will work with the Compliance Director to plan and assess educational needs and update program materials and manuals on an ongoing basis based on the results of audits, investigations, and gap analysis results.

The successful person will be organized, able to work under pressure, able to assess and monitor workload, able to prioritize projects, be a good communicator, and work well with others.

Key Responsibilities
  • Independently and in collaboration with relevant stakeholders, draft, develop and maintain effective training and communications materials.
  • Develop or customize, in consultation with university leadership and other interested parties, training and communications materials that align to University Values, Standards of Conduct, and goals of the Compliance Program.
  • Develop and manage the Compliance Training Plan.
  • Assess training needs of various audiences and monitor and assess training programs results for impact and effectiveness.
  • Establish methods for measuring and reporting on learner engagement, retention and application.
  • Run reports, provide initial analysis and information to leadership. Conduct pre-class and post-class data management and reports, identifying improvements and solutions.
  • Update the content of educational programs to ensure that content and is current.
  • Provide course materials and information to attendees/trainers, and follow-up with questions timely and professionally.
  • Develop multiple types of instructional materials such as handouts, videos, or other learning products.
  • Interview subject-matter experts and conduct other research to develop instructional content.
  • As with all positions, involvement with other duties and responsibilities may be expected in order to support the mission and purpose of the University of Missouri.
Shift

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred Qualifications

Teaching experience and/or compliance certifications/credentials a plus.
Prior experience using video creation and editing software, Articulate/Storyline, Percipio, or other training tools.
Demonstrated knowledge of education practices.
Prior experience collaborating with multiple departments/units in a decentralized environment to meet the needs of various constituencies while also meeting the needs of the organization as a whole is strongly desired.
Ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and priorities.
Experience developing and deploying training materials and communications.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $50,367 – $75,879 per year

Grade: GGS-010
