Job Description:

This position is eligible for up to two days remote work per week.

BASIC FUNCTION:

Promote Salve Regina University through a full range of admissions activities including programing of events and campus visit opportunities, and specific admissions projects as assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Management of On-Campus Events
    • Plan all major on-campus enrollment related events including open houses, special visit programs, yield events and counselor visit programs.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for all Admissions Events
    • Work with campus constituencies, including faculty, athletics, and student affairs to develop on-campus recruitment events to attract specific audiences
    • Manage the Campus Visit Team
    • Lead all admissions staff in implementation of on-campus events
    • Work with team members to plan and execute a successful daily campus visit experience and class visit program
    • Use data to make informed decisions regarding all campus visit experiences
  • Give regular presentations to prospective students and families
  • Must be willing to work some Saturdays, Sundays, and evenings
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Special admissions projects designed to enhance admission/retention efforts as assigned. This may include assistance with application review and some limited travel.

LICENSES, TOOLS, AND EQUIPMENT:

Must have a valid driver's license and own vehicle.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:

The incumbent is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.


Requirements:

Required:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • 1-3 years of admissions and/or event planning experience is required.
  • Must have demonstrated public relations skills with the ability to work effectively with faculty, students and a wide variety of administrative offices.
  • Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Must be a self-starter and problem solver.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and as part of an office team.
  • Limited travel with some evening, night and weekend work is required.
  • Must have the ability to handle stress in a busy office atmosphere.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software programs is required.
  • Confidentiality is of the utmost importance.
Preferred :
  • 3+ years admissions and/or event planning experience is preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of information systems preferred.
  • Familiarity with Slate CRM is a plus
