Candidates must have a PhD in Psychology by August 2024; area of specialization is open. All But Dissertation ( ABD ) candidates will be given consideration.
Candidates must also have a strong program of research with training in Quantitative Methods and a minimum of two years of experience as an instructor of record teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses.
Other Preferences for Consideration
Preference will be given to candidates who meet the minimum qualifications with post-doctoral experiences, a record of grantsmanship, and a strong program of research with experience.

Job Duties
- Candidates will be expected to teach a minimum of 2 undergraduate and/or graduate courses per semester during the first two years.
- Additionally, candidates will be expected to begin supervising undergraduate or graduate students during the second year of appointment.
- Candidates will be expected to teach existing courses and develop new courses in their area of specialization. Undergraduate courses include Developmental Psychology, Psychology of Learning, History & Systems of Psychology, Social Psychology, Psychology of Perception, Theories of Personality, General Psychology, Experimental Psychology, Statistics, and Research Methods. Graduate courses include Advanced Quantitative Methods, Applied Statistical Inference, Principles of Foundation and Measurement, Test Construction, and/or courses in area of specialization.
- Responsibilities also include academic advisement of students, establishing a program of research with undergraduate and graduate students, and contribution to the department through research, publications, and service.
