The Biology Instructional Office and the Department of Molecular Biosciences are seeking a full-time, instructional faculty member (non-tenured) for the 2024-2025 academic year. The position begins on August 16th, 2024 and is renewable on a yearly basis.

Duties include teaching organized upper-division undergraduate courses in one or more of the following areas: biochemistry, cell biology, microbiology and molecular biology. Candidates qualified to teach in two of these areas are highly desirable. Service, committee assignments, curriculum development and other professional development opportunities are available.

Appointment at Associate Professor of Instruction level is possible, with demonstrated excellence in teaching.


A PhD in one of the molecular biosciences is required and previous teaching experience is strongly preferred.

Must be eligible to work in the US on a full-time basis for any employer without sponsorship.
