Job Summary
- The Incumbent teaches Chemistry laboratory courses, while serving as co· academic advisor and faculty mentor for the program.

Essential Job Functions
- Conducts and teaches a requisite number of classes of assigned subjects
- Provides guidance and supervision to students
- Creates and maintains an environment conducive to excellence in teaching, learning and research Preparation and formulation of curricula focused on his/her subject{s)
- Serves as co-academic advisor for the chemistry programs to ensure that students are following their degree plan, while striving for academic excellence
- Provides academic support to other faculty members
- Maintains the chemistry labs for the Instruction, includes monitoring and enforcing chemical safety and chemical waste disposal per university and state rules and guideline
- Serves as Inventory liaison and maintains departmental Inventory records
- Maintains and serve the equipment and Instrument In the department
- Other related duties, as assigned
