The Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering (ISE) at the King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) invites applications for multiple faculty positions in all ranks (assistant professor, associate professor, and full professor). KFUPM seeks to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in Industrial Engineering and related areas, with a desire to promote and provide excellence in one of the following:
•    Operations Research
•    Production Systems/Supply Chain Management 
•    Quality Control/Statistics/Data Science
•    Engineering Economics
•    Industrial Information Systems
•    Human Factors/Ergonomics

The candidates are expected to:
•    Demonstrate teaching experience in the above-mentioned areas
•    Possess significant research potential as shown by relevant articles in top reputed and prestigious journals
•    Demonstrate potential in advancing and conducting interdisciplinary research
•    Possess excellent communication skills

Successful candidates are expected to:
•    Leverage their extensive experience to substantially lead and support education (teach courses and labs at the undergraduate/graduate levels) and engagement efforts
•    Engage in high-quality teaching and fulfill the teaching requirements of the department
•    Take advantage of the most recent advancements in their area of study, make significant contributions to relevant disciplines, expand their own international academic profiles, and maintain an active international academic network
•    Initiate and maintain research activities/projects with faculty members that result in peer-reviewed articles in high-impact professional journals
•    Provide service to the department, the university, and the profession
•    Participate in thematic and interdisciplinary research in one or more of the university's research emphasis areas
