Vincennes University Jasper Campus is seeking applicants for an Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a full time position beginning Fall 2024 semester and includes both teaching and departmental administrative duties. Teaching responsibilities may be in any of the VU nursing programs: Certified Nursing Assistant, Practical Nursing, Associate of Science Nursing, RN to BSN Completion Program or LPN to BSN Concentration.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching
Advising
Clinical/lab training and supervision
Development, implementation, and assessment of curriculum and course materials
Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited school of registered nursing and an earned master's in nursing, or willingness to complete an MSN within two years of hire. (financial assistance provided) Previous teaching experience in an educational or academic setting Experience in critical care, medical-surgical, psychiatric, or pediatric nursing Current unencumbered Registered Nursing licensure in the State of Indiana Three years of clinical experience
