Job Description:

Summary:

The Summer Dean’s Fellow will assist the Assistant Dean for Diversity, Inclusion and Affinity Relations with planning educational and strategic initiatives for the 2024/25 academic year.

Essential Functions:

The Dean’s Fellow essential functions will include:
  • Planning educational programs for the 2024/2025 academic school year.

  • Summer outreach to AUWCL affinity organizations.

  • Scheduling Fall meetings and focus groups.

  • Planning Fall Orientation/Compass programming.

  • Curate the DIA Inclusive Pedagogy Canvas page.

  • Other tasks as assigned by the Assistant Dean.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
  • Part-Time, 20 hours per week.

Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Juris Doctor.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience.

  • Prior experience in DEI training required.
