Agnes Scott College invites applications for an Associate Program Director of its developing Physician Assistant Program.

Agnes Scott College PA Program has applied for Provisional Accreditation from the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA). The anticipated matriculation date is October 2025, pending achieving Accreditation-Provisional status at the agenda meeting.

This is a rewarding opportunity to join the Agnes Scott Community. The Associate Program Director will exhibit strong leadership skills and have keen knowledge of ARC-PA standards and accreditation. Reporting directly to the Program Director, the primary responsibilities of the Associate Program Director include supporting the Program Director in assessment and analysis as it relates to program development and accreditation. Additionally, as an integral member of the faculty, the Associate Program Director will provide in-classroom and/or skills lab instruction and student advising among other functions. This is a 12-month, non-tenure track, full-time (1.0 FTE) faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank, pending experience.

Successful candidates will be licensed or license-eligible as a physician assistant in the State of Georgia, maintain current NCCPA certification, have a master’s degree or higher in physician assistant studies or related fields, and have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, and experience working with diverse populations is required. Additionally, competitive candidates will have five years of experience in PA education, ARC-PA accreditation, and assessment. Active involvement with professional societies is preferred.
