Job Summary
The Success Coach for the SEAASC provides holistic coaching to multicultural students, develops and executes programming, and serves on institutional committees to support multicultural students and their allies. The role of the Success Coach is to support retention, intervention, and outreach efforts that will lead to increased graduation rate for multicultural students.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in higher education counseling or a related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience in advising or relevant field
  • Experience working with students, parents, faculty and staff
  • Experience working with diverse populations


Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel Administration, or related field
  • Experience working in a higher education institution with preference for academic affairs, student affairs, student services, and/or counselling
  • Demonstrate ability to design and implement successful programs using data driven metrics
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills utilizing tact and diplomacy
  • Relevant language and/or community experience to support student and family networks that extend beyond the campus
