Research Technician II

Job Details

The lab focuses on uncovering the molecular mechanisms underlying neural circuit formation in developing the nervous system. The lab will use the mouse retina as a model system to identify the key molecules that mediate cell recognition and proper neural connectivity. Using single cell sequencing and CRISPR/Cas9 technology, the lab has identified several promising candidates and we are currently testing their role in neural connectivity. This position is an outstanding opportunity for career development for recent science graduates interested in biomedical research and/or future advanced degree training in the biomedical sciences or medicine.
