Position: Mid-Plains Community College is seeking a dynamic, student-centered, innovative individual to lead our Recruiting and Admissions Team and enrollment initiatives. An ideal candidate for this position needs a high level of rapport with students of all ages, the ability to lead and assess college-wide growth initiatives, and strong collaborative skills to drive partnerships with area high schools, MPCC academic and athletic departments, and other college departments to enhance enrollment and lay the groundwork for student success. Understanding technology, social media, mass marketing, and messaging is essential. This role regularly travels between North Platte, McCook, and Community Campuses.
Responsibilities include:
Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county service area in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are community campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the area. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required, a master’s degree preferred, a minimum of two years experience in higher education is preferred. The ability to communicate in multiple languages is helpful.

- Manage recruiting and admissions processes, outreach, and events from inquiry to enrollment.
- Maintain consistent contact with potential students, families, high school personnel, and communities.
- Assist marketing team with outreach materials and planning.
- Assist and train faculty, enrollment team, and other student service departments on strategies and ideas related to recruiting and outreach.
- Lead college-wide enrollment events for students of all backgrounds and programs.
