Position Description Summary/Purpose:
Goodwin University’s Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) tracks are seeking preceptors across the lifespan for Summer 2024 and beyond within the state of Connecticut.
Requirements:
- FNP Track: Board Certified FNP, MD, DO, PA, or other board certified nurse practitioner employed in relevant clinical setting including primary care, urgent care, school based health centers, community health centers, skilled nursing facilities, and home healthcare in the state of CT.
- PMHNP Track: Board Certified PMHNP, MD, or PMHCNS employed in inpatient, outpatient, substance use rehabilitation centers, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs, etc. in the state of CT.
- Minimum of two years relevant clinical experience.
- Stipend available upon request.
- Students will plan to work with preceptor on 1:1 or 2:1 ratio.
- Clinical hours per semester range from 180-240 hours.
