The Department of English at Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for Teaching Associates (part-time adjunct faculty) for first year composition courses beginning August 2024.
To be considered, candidates must hold an M.A., M.F.A, or Ph.D. in English, Composition and Rhetoric, Creative Writing, Literature, or an equivalent discipline. Candidates should have experience teaching college composition; they should also be dedicated to teaching classes that invite students into the careful reading, writing, and thinking practices central to academic work and sustained inquiry.

Coastal Carolina University is a public comprehensive liberal arts institution located in Conway, South Carolina, just nine miles from the Atlantic coastal resort city of Myrtle Beach. Coastal Carolina University enrolls over 10,000 students from 49 states and 55 nations.
