Job Details

A.T. Still University (ATSU) is seeking a full-time exempt Assistant Director of Admissions on the Mesa, Arizona campus. This position is eligible for hybrid (telecommute) work. The position of Assistant Director of Admissions will assist in supporting the Enrollment Advisors and the Enrollment Coordinator. The Assistant Director of Admissions will have an active pipeline of students and enroll students into the program designated by the Sr. Director of Online Admissions.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Meet and/or exceed pre-established enrollment goals. This entails individual personal accountability for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly objectives.
  • Guide potential students through the online enrollment process; qualifying potential students, investigating and discovering needs, understanding motivations, presenting features and financing options, recommending programs and customized solutions, actively engaging, and always listening to the needs of the potential student.
  • Assist the Sr. Director of Online Admissions in supporting the enrollment team by taking an active part in team discussions, 1:1 call coaching conducted weekly, provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist the Sr. Director of Admissions to help the Enrollment Team build and manage a quarterly enrollment cycle and pipeline. This may entail multiple points of contact with individual learners to help identify appropriate educational solutions.
  • Assist the Enrollment Coordinator with file audits and lead distribution.
  • Work with departments to resolve any lead/applicant issues.

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Three to five years experience as an enrollment counselor in a phone-based environment.
  • Experience working with adult learners and re-entry students.
  • Knowledge of lead management systems (CRM).
  • Management/supervisory experience in an admissions/recruitment/sales environment.
  • Experience in post-secondary higher education setting.
