Dordt University is currently seeking an education adjunct faculty member to teach Collaborative Leadership online. This adjunct faculty member will serve as a member of the Education department to teach online.

  • Teach Collaborative Leadership online
  • Host synchronous online sessions with the class 6-8 times per semester
  • Engage with students in Canvas regularly and provide high quality feedback
  • Articulate and effectively develop the university's Reformational perspective and mission within the context of teaching
  • Participate as an adjunct team member in department and university administrative tasks
Qualifications: The university seeks candidates with an earned doctoral degree in education or a related field. Experience in online teaching is preferred, and/or work experience or research that focuses on leading, teaching, and learning in the field of education. A commitment to excellence in graduate-level teaching, including curriculum design, and ongoing student learning assessment is required.
  • An earned doctoral degree or equivalent experience in education or a related field is required. A commitment to excellence in college-level teaching is required.
  • Acknowledge Christ's lordship over all of life and express an active Christian commitment, which shall include identification with a local organized church that holds to beliefs that are consistent with the mission of the university.
  • Oral and written communication skills and interpersonal abilities that enable effective collaboration with students, faculty and staff, community members, and other professionals.
