The Framingham State University Department of Chemistry and Food Science invites applications for a full-time, temporary, one-year faculty position starting September 2024. The successful applicant is able to teach a two-semester biochemistry sequence designed for biochemistry majors and minors. Additional responsibilities may include teaching laboratory classes for Principles of Chemistry, Principles of Chemistry and Quantitative Analysis, or Organic Chemistry I.

Job Requirements:


PhD in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Molecular Biology, or another related field.


Preference will be given to applicants with prior teaching experience at a higher education institution.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time, exempt, benefits-eligible position in the Massachusetts State College Association (MSCA) bargaining unit at a faculty rank commensurate with experience and credentials. Salary commensurate with experience in accordance with Appendix O of the MSCA contract.
