The Biomedical Sciences Program in the College of Graduate Studies at Midwestern University Glendale invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor.

Consistent with Midwestern University’s mission to train the next generation of health-care professionals, the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in teaching and a record of research accomplishment. Teaching responsibilities will include participation in the Biomedical Sciences programs designed to prepare masters-level students to enter health care professions and in other health care professions programs at Midwestern University. Research support including laboratory space, start-up funds, and technical support is provided to foster the development of a strong, independent research program.

The successful candidate will hold a PhD or other doctoral degree and a minimum of two years of post-doctoral research experience. Candidates with expertise in Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Nutrition Sciences are encouraged to apply. Prior teaching experience is strongly preferred.
