Job Description

The Department of Marketing in the School of Business at Providence College is seeking a renewable contingent (practitioner) faculty member for a start-date of August 1, 2024. A practitioner faculty member is defined as a full-time, contract faculty member who has specialized and significant training, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience in a particular field relevant to a departmental or programmatic need.

Housed in the Arthur F. and Patricia Ryan Center for Business Studies, the School of Business is an AACSB -accredited, fast-growing, innovative institution of higher learning committed to faculty and student excellence.The ideal candidate will be committed to high quality teaching and student advising, and a successful candidate will be expected to engage in service activities for the School and the College. A successful candidate will also be expected to engage in ongoing practice-oriented activities consistent with AACSB qualification requirements as defined by the School of Business.

Essential Duties

The successful candidate for this position will be expected to teach introductory undergraduate courses in marketing.

Education and Experience Required

A minimum of a master’s degree, preferably from an AACSB -accredited institution, is required.
