Job Description

The School of Business at the University of Indianapolis seeks applicants for a non-tenure-track Professor of Professional Practice in the field of Supply Chain Management. This is a full-time, nine-month faculty position with a start date of September 2024 Teaching requirements will consist primarily of Principles of Supply Chain Management and field courses in Procurement Management and Quality Management at the undergraduate and MBA levels. The normal teaching load is 24 semester hours per academic year.

The ideal candidate has an MBA or a masters degree in supply chain management. The candidate has significant work experience in supply chain management, purchasing, supply management, production, or operations management. A PhD in operations, supply chain management or industrial engineering or a DBA are encouraged yet not required. Teaching experience not required but strongly preferred. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

Service to the school, University, and community are also requirements for the position. Responsibilities- Assistant/Associate Professor of Supply Chain Management
