Position Summary

Under the limited supervision of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs & the Vice Chancellor for Diversity & Inclusion, this person provides administrative support to the Vice Chancellor and division directors by acting as the financial advisor to the Vice Chancellors both internally and externally. This person will serve as a resource on matters concerning the Vice Chancellors’ Office staff; responsible for all personnel related paperwork in the division; responsible for all expense and budget transfers in the divisions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Two years experience in budget development and monitoring
  • Advanced skill working with Microsoft Office (Excel, formulas etc.)
  • Ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
  • Degree in accounting, business, management, human resources or related field
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
  • Experience working with Accounting concepts and rules
  • Experience with PeopleSoft
  • Experience in Higher Education
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to serve as a liaison between educators and campus business partners
  • Ability to plan and implement change/process improvement initiatives
