Responsibilities:
The Graduate Financial Aid Assistant is responsible for providing the highest level of customer service to students, applicants and their families seeking information and/or assistance via email, phone or in person from Student Financial Services. The Graduate Financial Aid Assistant also provides administrative and counseling support by assisting and resolving inquiries, contacting other university offices as needed, and assisting with auditing of students' federal eligibility and aid awards. The Graduate Financial Aid Assistant is also responsible for the intake of financial aid paperwork and other disseminated materials for incoming and returning students.
Qualifications:
Associates degree required, bachelor's degree preferred, and two years of related office experience. Familiarity with computer systems to include working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required. Knowledge and experience in customer service, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast paced environment and ability to multi-task.
