About the Opportunity:
This is a full-time position that will work in close collaboration with the Principal Investigator on the execution of several federal and private research grants. In collaboration with the PI, the Research Project Coordinator will develop project plans and milestones, and help ensure execution of these plans, as well as ensuring that all grantor contractual and regulatory requirements are met.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for identifying issues and potential bottlenecks within projects and propose potential solutions and/or options for efficiency. Other responsibilities will include: tracking, forecasting and reporting on grant budgets, hiring and supervising (in collaboration with the PI) student research assistants, assisting in preparation of reports to granting institutions and publication manuscripts, and other administrative tasks related to grant execution. Candidates with grant and/or software project management skills a plus.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required, master's preferred. Must have 1-3 years experience working in an office environment and supervisory experience. Candidates with grant and/or software project management skills a plus. Experience with health/medical research a plus.
