Job Description

ECPBS provides training and coaching to early childhood educators to improve the quality of early childhood program environments in Boone County. ECPBS provides coaching using evidence-based practices to increase childcare provider's knowledge and abilities to build relationships with children and families, promote social-emotional development, reduce challenging behaviors, and promote kindergarten readiness.

The ECPBS Senior Coordinator key responsibilities include:
- Project implementation and management, including but not limited to: overseeing and executing a program budget; leading grant writing efforts; administration of program incentives and training documentation to participants; and spearheading program innovation to best serve program participants
- Supervision and management of a small team (3-4) of ECPBS coaches
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with program stakeholders
- Coordinating logistics for approximately 30 training events per year – both in-person and online
- Conducting meetings and trainings utilizing video conferencing software
- Proficiency in RedCap usage to maintain and access program data
- Leading program evaluation efforts and outcome reporting
- Develop and maintain coaching relationships with teachers and site administrators via weekly coaching at 3-4 sites
- Facilitating trainings for participants via creating and providing trainings (creating materials, ability to deliver presentation and trainings)
- Leading program innovation for maximum impact and efficacy for participants


Primarily Monday through Friday, 9am – 5pm. There is the occasional need for working hours during nights and weekends to accommodate events in the community (approximately 3-5 times per month).

This position is 90% FTE which is the equivalent to 36 hours a week.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong proficiency working with and/or mastering technology platforms (ex: RedCap, Zoom, Canva, MS Office Suite)
• Knowledge and education regarding developmentally appropriate teaching practices
• Experience working with persons from diverse cultural and economic backgrounds
• Knowledge and education in typical and atypical social/emotional development of young children 0-6.
• Proficient and confident with developing curriculum and providing trainings (creating materials, able to deliver presentation and trainings)
• Experience with facilitating meetings; including drafting notes, agendas, running meeting, etc.
• Experience and or knowledge of Positive Behavior Support
• Familiarity of Boone County resources involving children and families
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $51,875 - $54,000.00 Annually
GGS Grade: GGS-010
