This individual would be tasked with monitoring construction schedules, reviewing design and construction documents, keeping construction documents current during projects, attending job and coordination meetings, observing tests performed on the job site, maintaining office records and files according to an established standard, preparing daily reports, reviewing submittals/shops, reviewing payment applications, assisting with inspection reports, and tracking/coordinating issues during the construction warranty periods. Residential Life also completes a number of minor upgrades during the summer months. These upgrades typically consist of upgrading finishes within dorms and other residential communities which are not slated for immediate renovation in their entirety. As the University continues to expand and add more residential students, the campus is also considering adding a new dormitory in the near future for which the incumbent would also be actively involved in.
