Regional Remote Admissions Counselor (New Jersey & Pennsylvania)

Job Description:

Champlain College is seeking a self-motivated team player to take on responsibility for all aspects of admissions
recruitment, working remotely within a geographic territory - New Jersey & Pennsylvania, requiring travel to high
schools and college fairs, communicating with school counselors, secondary school teachers, prospective students,
and parents.

knowledge about our academic programs, admissions requirements, and inclusive, welcoming community to speak
with enthusiasm about why Champlain should be a top choice for students seeking higher education; answer
prospective students' questions about the admission process; and help them navigate the complexities of completing
their application for admissions.

In this position, you'll build our enrollment through targeted recruitment activities. Maintain current and develop
new partnerships with school counselors and secondary school faculty members for the purpose of recruiting new
students. Travel and work flexible hours to recruit high school students through presentations at high school, fairs,
and collaborative work with partners, schools or community groups and other off-campus events. Develop and
maintain overall knowledge of each major of study to have informed discussions with prospective students, parents,
and school counselors. Maintain accurate and detailed visit and recruiting records for all high schools in an assigned
territory. Be highly responsive in assisting prospective students through the college enrollment process by phone,
email, social networking, and traditional mail. Participate in extensive regional travel required in the fall and spring
seasons, during the week and weekends, for the purposes of new student recruitment, primarily in an assigned

Education and Experience Education:
Bachelor's Degree required. 2+ years in related field preferred, especially if in college admissions or sales.
Willingness to travel and work outside of traditional business hours, including evenings and weekends, to
accommodate prospective students' availability throughout the year.
