The System is the major provider of customized instruction and technical assistance for Wisconsin employers. With nearly 300,000 people enrolling each year, it is the largest higher education system in the state.

Our unique connections to employers – from multinational to Main Street – allow us to consistently increase the economic vitality of students, employers, and communities throughout Wisconsin.

The president will be expected to work effectively with a wide variety of organizations, build consensus on issues and maintain robust partnerships between the System and its many stakeholder groups. The president will advocate for technical colleges and career and technical education with the legislature, governor, education partners, employer partners and national organizations.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of trends in technical and adult education.
  • Academic credentials should be appropriate to leadership of a state technical college system.

  • Successful track record of high-level administrative experience in one or more of the following:
  • government;
  • technical and adult education;
