The Library


Antioch University Library offers extensive digital and print resources, innovative ILL/DD services, and tailored instruction supporting faculty, staff, and students across the University system. Antioch University Librarians provide customized research and instructional support, collaborating closely with program faculty to develop curriculum-aligned materials.


The Roles


We're seeking three entrepreneurial, student-focused Faculty Research and Instruction Librarians: 


  • Liaison to the School of Environmental Studies, based in Keene, NH


  • Liaison to the School of Education, remote position


  • Liaison to the School of Counseling, Psychology & Therapy, based in Keene, NH

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Course-Integrated Instruction: Collaborate with program faculty to develop integrated library curriculum ensuring students acquire research and critical thinking skills.


  • Workshops / Seminars / Presentations/Co-Teaching: Design and deliver instructional sessions tailored to the unique needs of students in the assigned School.


  • Personalized Research Consultations: Provide one-on-one instruction and guidance to students, supporting their research process.


  • Outreach: Engage with departments through proactive outreach and provide tailored instruction to meet the unique needs of programs in each School.


  • Collaboration: Work with library colleagues to create outreach and instruction materials promoting AU Library resources and services.


  • Institutional Citizenship: Represent the library on University committees and governing bodies.





  • American Library Association accredited Masters degree 


  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or extensive experience supporting related programs


  • Minimum of five years providing library services to graduate students 


  • Must be able to travel




  • Proficiency in distance library instruction


  • Success in outreach, communication, and relationship building


  • Effectiveness in building an information literacy curriculum


  • Ability to collaborate with library colleagues


  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion


  • Knowledge of current trends in higher education and scholarly communication


  • Proficiency in a range of platforms, tools, and technologies
