The Graduate School of Global Communication and Language invites applications for a position in Japanese Language Teaching Practices at the Lecturer, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor level, beginning April 1, 2025 or September 1, 2025.

AIU opened in 2004 as the first public ‘University Corporation’ in Japan, and in 2008 it opened the Graduate School of Global Communication and Language, a professional graduate school designed to prepare language teachers and communications specialists for the globalized age. This is the only professional graduate school in Japan specializing in Japanese language education. The graduate school consists of three programs: English Language Teaching Practices, Japanese Language Teaching Practices, and Global Communication Practices, aiming to cultivate professionals who can excel globally as foreign language teachers and practitioners in global communication. AIU plans to apply in the future as a ”Registered Japanese Language Teacher Training Institution” and a “Registered Practical Training Institution”.
