The Agnes Scott College Department of Chemistry seeks applications for a visiting assistant professor for the 2024-25 academic year. The successful applicant will teach undergraduate organic chemistry I and II with labs. Teaching responsibilities will also include general chemistry I and II with lab and biochemistry I with lab depending on interest. This position is a one-year appointment with a teaching load of 3 courses per semester and is potentially renewable. A PhD is required for this position; MA, MS, and ABD candidates will be considered for appointment at the Visiting Instructor level. Evidence of excellence in teaching at the college level is also required.

Applicants who make it to the final rounds of recruitment will be asked to give a Zoom or in-person guest lecture about an agreed upon topic.
