The Rowan University South Jersey Technology Park is seeking a dynamic and strategic B2B General Manager to spearhead the growth of our online education offerings. As the fourth fastest-growing research institution in the nation, Rowan University is committed to increasing its reach and impact through innovative online learning solutions. This position is key in achieving Rowan University’s mission and goals including access, affordability, quality and economic impact.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to identify educational needs, drive enrollment growth and cultivate strategic partnerships in the rapidly evolving landscape of higher  education.



Develop and execute strategic plan for the B2B online education business line, aligning with the overall goals of the University Lead business development efforts to establish and expand employer partnerships, understanding partner needs and delivering customized online education programs Collaborate with academic departments and instructional designers to create high-quality, market-relevant programs Drive innovation in online education delivery methods and technologies to enhance the overall student experience Develop and execute targeted marketing and sales campaigns to promote online education offerings Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling collateral, presentations, and other materials to support sales efforts Responsible for overall financial health of the business, taking ownership of P&L  


Key Metrics Essential for Effective Performance:

Partner acquisition – cost, partner pipeline health (coverage and conversion rates), lead response time Student body growth – diversity, satisfaction  



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with 10 years of industry experience; master's degree preferred Proven experience in B2B go-to-market strategy development and execution Strong understanding of online education trends, technologies, and customer needs Demonstrated success in driving sales and revenue growth in a B2B context Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strategic thinker with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset
