Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science
Department: Natural Sciences and Mathematics
Location: Main Campus, Columbia MO
Pay:$2,150 - $2,350 per 16 week course (Pay range may vary based on geographic location)

Description: Columbia College-Main Campus (Columbia, MO) seeks part-time Adjunct Instructors to teach various undergraduate Computer Science courses. Our average higher level class size is 10 and average lower level class size is 15.

For Fall 16-Week Semester (August 26 2024-December 13 2024):
  • One Adjunct Instructor to teach a Python Programming course (3 credit hours)
  • One Adjunct Instructor to teach a Software Engineering course (3 credit hours)
  • One Adjunct Instructor to teach a Compiler Construction course (3 credit hours)

​For Spring 16-Week Semester (January 6 2025 to April 25 2025):
  • One Adjunct Instructor to teach an Operating Systems course (3 credit hours)
  • One Adjunct Instructor to teach an Object-Oriented Analysis and Design course (3 credit hours)

Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include a minimum of Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Current experience and college teaching experience are highly desired.
