The undergraduate Biomedical Sciences Program (BMD) in the Department of Clinical and Diagnostic Sciences (CDS) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) School of Health Professions is seeking to fill a 12-month, full-time, in-person, faculty position at the rank of instructor. This is a non-tenure, term-limited position renewed annually.

The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences or a related discipline and will have documented experience teaching undergraduate genetics, microbiology and microbiology labs, laboratory courses, and physiology/pharmacology. Post-doctoral training as a Merit Scholar and mentorship of undergraduate students is preferred, as is experience in pedagogical research.
