Two-year postdoctoral teaching fellowship in Computer Science: The University of Tennessee at Martin, College of Engineering and Natural Sciences, Department of Computer Science is seeking applications for a 2-year postdoctoral teaching fellowship within the Department of appointment in Computer Science.

The University of Tennessee at Martin seeks to fill a 2-year non-tenure track position as a postdoctoral teaching fellow in Computer Science beginning August 1, 2024. A PhD in Computer Science, or a related field is required. Candidates who are ABD may apply for the position but must have their degree awarded before the appointment date. An ideal candidate should be motivated and able to teach a variety of computer science courses typical of a 4-year ABET accredited computer science program.  Responsibilities include teaching and curriculum development, and scholarly activity. Effective pedagogic and communication skills are required.  A research stipend is included.

The University of Tennessee at Martin is a primary campus in the University of Tennessee System. The campus is located in Northwest Tennessee approximately 125 miles north of Memphis and 150 miles west of Nashville. The University of Tennessee at Martin has a combined graduate and undergraduate enrollment of approximately 7,000 students. The emphasis is solidly on excellence in undergraduate instruction.
