Position Summary
Adjunct Instructor openings available in the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences ( SEAS ) at the University at Buffalo (UB) through a variety of part-time positions. Enthusiastic, forward-thinking faculty are invited to apply, particularly those who can operate effectively in a team environment and in a diverse community of students and faculty, helping all students reach their full potential.
Candidates should have the ability to teach a range of seated or on-line courses in a discipline of engineering at the undergraduate or graduate level, as needed.

The School of Engineering and Applied Sciences has 9 academic departments: Biomedical Engineering; Chemical and Biological Engineering; Computer Science and Engineering; Civil, Structural and Environmental Engineering; Electrical Engineering; Engineering Education; Industrial and Systems Engineering; Materials Design and Innovation; and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering.

Minimum Qualifications

For a position that requires teaching a graduate course: a master’s degree in the relevant discipline/field.

Preferred Qualifications
For a position that requires teaching a graduate course: a PhD degree in the relevant discipline/field.
