The Department of Criminal Justice at High Point University invites applications for a full-time faculty position (rank/position to be determined by credentials and experience) to begin serving as Department Chair and teaching in August of 2024. Only applicants with a Ph. D. in criminal justice and leadership experience will be considered. Ability and experience to teach law enforcement and investigations preferred.
Duties include teaching two courses per semester, as well as leading this already successful department in a new phase of growth and relevance, while maintaining scholarly activities. The University seeks applicants who model the values of instructional excellence, service to the university and with a solid reputation for research.
